Cure Violence grows online support for its work on the streets
Cure Violence uses a public health model to reduce violence. Its outreach workers connect with people most likely to be involved in violence and redirect them to make non-violent choices.
Original online presence didn’t do justice to its work
Cure Violence’s website lacked a central strategy to attract and engage supporters and stakeholders. They asked us to help them define that strategy, and then manage the website’s redesign to grow their online audiences.
Goal to grow online audience informs every decision
We managed the site’s redesign and launch, from strategy to design to functionality. We kept the project on track and on budget. To take full advantage of the new site’s launch, we also set a social media strategy that would engage funders, think tanks and policy makers.
Sustained growth and engagement in the years since
Over the next three years, unique monthly website traffic increased by 220%, its Twitter following expanded by 117%, and Facebook likes grew by 96%.
